I would like to express my gratitude and overall satisfaction while working with you on the purchase of my new home. I'm impressed with the fact that the entire process only took three weeks from the moment I walked into your office until I signed the final documents. My family (9 people!) and I felt right at home when walking through the home, and were never pressured from you as to why I should purchase the home now.

We had the most pleasant, professional, and worry free purchase of our Lewes, DE home working with Carl Bartell. It was our 5th home purchase, and the most smooth and professional experience.

 

We met Carl walking the streets of Lewes. From our first meeting through to closing, he conducted himself admirably. Initially we told him we weren’t sure if we wanted a home on the beach or a historic home in town. He kept in touch with us the past year, with occasional correspondences, and showing us homes that might be of interest to us according to what we indicated at our first meeting. Never pushing us, but always asking for feedback to better serve us in our quest for a home at the beach. When he did find a home he thought we should see and we decided to come visit, Carl showed us other homes in the area too. After spending the day with Carl, and listening to his knowledge of how long present owners had owned the homes and what they paid for them, as well as his knowledge of the whole area, we had decided his original recommendation was what we wanted, and the best home for us.

 

After we made our decision to present a contract, Carl took over control of the process and made sure that all details of the contract were met by both buyer and seller. He organized and found professional people to perform inspections, surveying, and legal/closing attorneys. The fact that we were over 100 miles away never became a problem because Carl was detailed and followed up on every detail and question, bringing this home buying experience to a successful and happy conclusion.
